I'm with Sprint and am looking for a replacement for my Sanyo MM-8300. I'd really appreciate some input. I've mostly been looking at Sanyo, but I'm certainly open to other brands. I've been looking at used phones on ebay in hope of finding one I like for between $75 and $125. Can you guys please help???

Most important things I'm looking for in a replacement phone:
(I want my new phone to meet or exceed the 8300 in these areas)

* Good reception
* Clarity (no garbled sound)
* camera (High quality pictures)
* Camcorder (15-seconds is okay)
* Loud ringers

Other features high on my list:

* outside colored display
* speakerphone
* I think the storage card on the MM-5600 is great.

Sanyo phones I've been looking at:

* MM-5600 (my #1 choice at the moment)
* MM-5500 (VM4500) (#2 choice)
* MM-5300 (No video but real affordable/cheap on ebay)

Other likes and dislikes:

* Prefer sleek look over rugged (like the 7400/7500)
* I like black (dark blue maybe) black/silver.
* Don't much need multi-media to play games, watch TV, listen to music, etc.
* Text message around 50-100 messages per month.
* Hate how the 8300 makes callers sound garbled.

Thanks for any advise from those more knowledgable than me!

I had the 5500 and friggin loved it, but I liked my Toshiba 4050 even more! Excellent RF, video, QVGA screen, louder ringers, mp3 ringers (just change the file ext to .mid) the most customisable phone I ever had that wasn't a Moto. The best pics I have ever seen from a non MP camera. Its silver, but you can skin it with vinyl from visionskins.com. Looks good in carbon fiber or matte black. Look for one, you wont be sorry. Promise I regret selling that phone more than any other, ever.

Thanks for the recommendation! I am definately going to check out the Toshiba 4050. It sounds perfect. Especially love that its highly customizable.
