used iphone, if i put my sim card in it would i get an additional fee in cingular?

my friend gave me his old iphone 3g and now i want to use it as my ipod and phone but i was wondering if i put my sim card in the iphone i would get an additional internet fee ( i already have unlimited txt) and this is from cingular. please help

You would get charged as soon as you put it in and used it.
