some networks don't want its customers sending really cheap instant messages instead of using texts so they have nokia remove the feature from there branded handsets.



dunno why nokia changed this, you can select wi-fi on a n91

the way round it is to copy a packet data access point, rename it to say IM connection, then go to the Im settings and select that access point.  go back to your phones connection settings and change the IM connection from packet data to wi-fi. your Im cliant should now connect via wi-fi!!!
