Is it at all possible to upgrade your firmware using a bluetooth dongle

I know everyone uses a cable, but im sure i read you can do this,

Any help would be great
 
My main problem with this program is that I can't get it to detect my phone! Even the Z510winimei program has a fit and says that the COM port can't be opened.

I'm not sure if I need drivers for this, or if it blindly accepts what you say and attempts to open the port straight away, or if I'm doing something incorrectly.

I'm using the D800 cable, with the phone turned off and the 9v battery in place. Is there anything that I' m missing?

edit - I'm trying to change the IMEI, but even unlocking functions don't work.
