When I insert the drive in my windows 7 pc, I am told to format the disk when I click yes I am informed that there is no disk in drive G and that it can't format, when i try to access it again it says "please insert disk into removable disk G". I have gone into device manager to troubleshoot and I have disabled, uninstalled, set policies on the device but nothing works.
when i insert it into my win xp pc it says that the drive is write protected when i try to format it, so i have installed thumbscrew and running it, but even that did not work.
i tried the usb drive on several pc's and it does not work or show any partitions in device manager, just "no media"
please help.
i can't scan it with a antivirus because every application thinks its "not there"
other usb drives work fine on both pc's
the usb has NO little switches on it or buttons of any kind.
