USB cable connectivity problem with nokia 6350

Hi

I recently got a nokia 6350 phone. I also bought a USB data cable off the net to use to sync the contact/calendar info on the phone with my pc, but I am having problems getting the pc to recognise the phone.

Here are things that I've tried:

- Installing the latest version of Nokia PC Suite;

- Installing just the cable connectivity drivers after uninstalling everything else;

- Rebooting pc and switching off/on phone;

- Plugging phone into another USB port;

- Removing/putting phone battery back;

But none of these work.

Any one have any ideas what else to try?
