Hello, could someone please provide detailed information and at least provide links or references to their answers.
Question 1: A friend is currently in the US military and she is a US citizen - Can she apply for dual citizenship.. lets say for Australia?
Question 2: If not, can she after finishing the military/leaving the military - apply for dual citizenship?
Question 3: If she marries a person lets say an Australian - can she apply for dual citizenship?
I've just heard that US military personnel can't and never will be able to apply for dual citizenship. Just want to get my facts straight!
