im just asking for peoples opinions on this question:
How does the founding of the New England colonies compare with the origin of the middle colonies? and in what ways do you think new england and the middle colonies similar like the south? differences?

im just asking people what they think. best answer will get 10 pts!

Climate
New England - cold, but near good fishing grounds, limited growing season, lumber, good ports
Middle - warmer, more farming, good fishing, good ports, easy access inland
South - warm, year round growing, needs lots of slave labor, more larger farms (plantations), great ports.

Cotton from the South eventually fed the textile mills of the North.

The southern colonies were founded for purely capital gain. They were in search of gold, and agriculture to export back to England. Women did not arrive until after the colony was well established.

The New England colonies were founded with settlement in mind. Women arrived on the first ship. Agriculture was harder to ensure in the North's hard terrain. They relied on more practical means of capital. For example, pencils. The north was known for producing pencils.
