A little over a year ago I signed a standard 2 year agreement with US Cellular for many reasons, not the least of which was exceptional phone and customer service. After hearing about the looming buy out by Sprint, I am concerned about having to become a Sprint customer, due to known problems with their network and coverage. I know many Sprint customers that are completely dissatisfied with the service and I am not interested in going from excellent service that I have received to service that is less than desirable. What are the options for US Cellular customers like myself that do not want to go with Sprint? Will I have to pay a termination fee even though I did not sign with Sprint?
