US Cartoon TV Series with "Monkey King" Character?

Anyone know the name of the cartoon tv series that aired in US that resembles the "Monkey King" Chinese myth"...

I remember thinking he had a black vest on... and he during the episodes found his tiara and staff...

Anyone know what I'm talking about?
