I'm going to be a featured soloist in a big production at my University, and my music library is either too large to look at objectively or keeps being recreated by Glee.. SO, what I'm looking for is Mid- to Up-tempo Song for a tenor with a large range... I do better with emotional songs, but can enjoy and appreciate lots of genres. Might even be ok with singing a cover of a woman's song?!? (With a masculine approach, of course.)
I've been asked to propose 5 songs-- but these are the other details they'd prefer:
1- Not Country 2- Would help if it has horns or would sound decent with horns 3- Could have background vocals and/or easily conceptualized into something acted or choreographed.
Producer prefers songs that are family friendly, but not incredibly religiously themed.
Some are suggestions are ok, but they probably won't choose a ShowTune.
