Urgent Message to those wanting to Upgrade BB Software...

DO NOT USE T-MOBILE'S LINK ON THEIR WEBSITE!!
USE RIM/BLACKBERRY.COM ***ONLY***

The reason I say this is because I went to upload my BB's handheld
AND desktop manager a day ago and as soon as I did, BOTH my
BB and PC crashed. This was the latest version of 4.1.xxx not the 4.2.

T-Mobile said their link is fine, but it's just kinda odd that
all of a sudden something in the link caused my PC to crash.
Maybe my computer had something in it. I dunno... Virus scan
and Spyware was ran and nothing was found. Nonetheless, I am now
repairing my Windows and hoping this will get my computer fixed.

T-Mobile wasn't able to get my BB fixed, but a few friends
were able to help me manage to get it to work for a few more
days till they send out my NEW Blackberry free of charge.
(Least they could do for totally causing my PC to blow up... HAHA!)

Anyway... just thought I'd send out a warning to fellow T-Mo
users...
 
Ooops I may be too late....

I used their link this morning...all went well after that I needed to reisntall the 2007 savings patch....

then; my browser's gone...hmmm

so I re-registered, sent the service books again (3times)....BUT no service books...none nada..

I 've been waiting for almost 7 hours now...soft reset, hard reset...nope...

still waiting for my service books.....

any ideas?
 
I'm curious why you used the 4.1 not 4.2? and are you talking about that version for the desktop software or handheld software (I assume handheld)?
 
this happens to me when I wipe my BB too... you sent the service books again, did you make sure the PIN was correct under that... just double check it should be but who knows. Also pull the battery so it "re-connects" to the network and it may see the sent books. Just guesses - good luck !
 
yes, PIN was correct. And also left the battery off for about 30mins....nope nothing..

TMOBILE where is my SERVICE BOOK??? No browser , no Email.....

at least I can still make calls...pff...

I shouldnt have upgraded....if it aint broken , why try to fix it.....
 
resend your service books from T-mobile website. if that doesn't work

Go to options/advanced/ host routing table, (register now!
