Hi,
I really need to know this, its URGENT!
Even if you dont have an exact answer, POST A ANSWER - ALL WILL HELP
Basically tomorrow i have a carnival gig and have to run a 500w amplifier to power 4x 12inch speakers on a trailer. My generator has bunged up and fkd so i need a quick alternative! I have been looking into those power inverters which you can clip onto the terminals of a battery and it will convert it to household power.
I have 2x car batterys. I know 1 is a bigish one designed for MPV's (people carriers -8 seaters). The other is slightly smaller.
How long do you think i can run a amplifier at 500w on a car battery?
I have 2, so one can be used as backup.
The carnival is roughly 2 hours long.
Thanks!
URGENT!

Also, this is a PA amplifier not Car audio amplifier!
