Upper right rib pain

I have had upper right rib pain for a number of years. This is not a constant pain but one that will appear and be bothrsome for a while and disappear. I have had a number of tests for this but nothing the doctors could pinpoint. So I continue to hurt.

If anyone has had this problem I would appreciate it if you would share your thoughts and maybe your diagnosis.
