I feel something stuck in my throat after meals.
And its over only when the meal is digested.

I read somewhere its can be the Upper LES!!

What can cause it?!?!?!! WHY!!!
I have lower LES problems now this !!!
it seems my problem goes and evolves, what can I do now?

SounRAB like it could be LPR. There is a ton of information on this board about it. Try doing a search.

Your throat and vocal corRAB are much more sensitive to the acid than your esophagus. It only takes a tiny bit of acid to cause major inflammation. If you've already made lifestyle changes for your GERD, then my best recommendation if it turns out to be LPR is to up to two PPI's per day, one in the a.m. and the other in the evening.

You could try taking a dose of Gaviscon after eating, to prevent regurgutation, though I think this is somthing you need to see your doctor about

It started when I tried droping PPI dose to 15mg from 30mg.

Now im back on 30mg again and I feel no reflux but my throat is little bit hurt and everytime I swallow saliva I feel the damaged area as something that is stuck inside there.

How can I fix it now?

Hi Lacontanstine:

You may need to stay on your PPI longer and then only very slowly and gradually taper off. You may need to take 30 mg one day and then 15 another day along with a dose of Zantac to help with the tapering off process. It sounRAB like your throat is irritated. As I posted to you before, try to get better before you start thinking of discontinuing your PPI. Otherwise, you risk going on a rollercoaster ride. Johnstar also gave you sound advice when he suggested taking a little bit of Gaviscon (particularly at night) to keep that food and acid from coming back up while you sleep. As I wrote before, slow and steady and don't rush getting off your medication. As you know, I am not a great lover of PPI's, but cannot imagine running around with a sore throat and discomfort all the time either.

Hope you feel better soon.

Rose
