My contract ends around August but my parents don't want to get me a new phone because there's nothing wrong with it. The only reason I want a new phone is because the battery life on my current phone is horrible I would charge it all night and by the end of the day it would die even if i didn't use it. My question is when the contract expires can i upgrade it myself without my parents permission. I'm 17.
