Hi,

Per my other thread, just bought a new system with the PVR for $150.00. Had to pay an extra $90 to get an upgrade to satellite 82, but the site says I'll get a coupon for $90 worth of programming.

For those who work at Bell, how will this work? I heard it's a discount over a period of time? Since I bought (and arranged installation through Bell) for the system, will the installer give me a coupon when he arrives or is it automatically applied to my account?

Also, just curious as to why you cannot get playboy network without buying the movies pack? That's over $30 to get the playboy network. Is there another way? I watch a lot of movies, but usually wide screen and on a DVD.

It's due to the fact that Playboy TV is a U.S. channel and must be purchased in conjunction with some Canadian content. Star Choice is a little more lenient as they allow you to take Playboy not only by subscribing to Movies but also by subscribing to the Fun Stuff theme pack. It's too bad that Bell doesn't offer Hustler or Red Light as these two make nice options instead off Playboy -very raunchy and Canadian to boot.

the coupon is in you upgrade kit you purchased if you have it open the box and remove it if not make sure you speak to whom ever is installing it and get it

My install is tomorrow! So excited to have satellite back - haven't watched some good TV in forever.

There's a dish on the roof that's unobstructed (Expressvu) - the landlord thinks that no one is using it. I sent a letter to the tenants in that apartment (4 units in building, by process of elimination...) to see if they were using it - thought I may be able to help the installer out and just use that dish....

They haven't responded - so I don't know if they're using it or not.

I suppose I could just ask the installer to install my dish right beside the other one? I did pay for a dish.... It seems to be the best place on the house for line of sight. I asked them to bring a 40 foot ladder - I've had problems in the past with a lazy installer with only a 10 foot ladder and a big tree that bloomed 3 weeks after install.
