Upgrade questions on verizon...?

Upgrade prices vary by phone, from free to $300, depending on the phone, and whether you want a 1 year or 2 year contract. All upgrade prices are after rebate, with a new contract agreement. If you cancel a line, you lose the phone number forever, so I would not recommend doing that. Android phones will be the best phones for lots of internet and app use

Okay, so I have the nationwide talk and text 700 family plan with 4 lines, we upgrade next month and 1st. let me say the 4th line is going to be cut off, we just don't use it anymore. 2nd. How much does it cost to upgrade? How is pricing decided. 3rd. Can I cut off my contract and end it and all that, and "upgrade" Cheaper? 4th. Should I get blackberry or android?! I mainly text but I am a HUGEEEE facebook/myspace/tumblr/twitter person, so which would be best? which phone would you reccomend? any suggestions?

please answer to the best of your knowledge...
