I recently got an unlocked Nokia N900 and I was wondering if updating the phone would cause it to lock itself. I know someone who has an unlocked iPhone 4 and when he updated it, his phone locked itself and his SIM card no longer worked so I'm kinda worried that the same thing would happen to my phone if I update it.
