Just thought I woud touch base with everyone to let you know how I am doing and give hope to others facing this surgery.
The surgery is rough,but it's been a year June 16.
Yes, the surgery did help,but I am still having some problems.
The biggest problem I am having now is my left side of my left leg and foot is nurab. I have nurabess in my foot from the beginning,but not my leg.
The doctor said it was to early to tell if it is permment or not. It does get worse with walking or standing.
Any one else have this problem?
The walking problems I was having was due from blockage left 95% right 100%. The vascular surgeon said it was common from this type of back surgery. But also could be from my age and smoking.
I had 2 stents put in made a world difference right from the beginning.
Now for the setting problem they did have me to get a pillow to set on I don't remeraber the name but for the tailbone,not a doughnut and it does help.
So to those of you that have had or going to have this type of surgery. It is rough,but hang in there and yes I still have good days and bad days.
