Update for Honda Accord Navigation DVD.?

I recently purchased a 2004 Honda Accord with Navigation. The navigation system says I have version 1.10 software. Current software is listed as version 3.80. Can anyone tell me what the major revision history is of the navigation DVD outside of the standard street updates? Are any new features or functionality offered with the DVD?
 
On the newer version will be updated roads and POI(points of interest).

Points of interest will be restaurants, gas stations and other businesses. With out the update you may be looking for business that are no longer there. You might look for the nearest ATM and the bank has moved.
 
I absolutely agree with "servant Honda".
You can find the upgraded version on ebay, it will be cheaper than if you will buy it on the dealership.
