I had 2.3.3 gingerbread HTC evo 4g. I tried rooting it and it worked but then It got bricked....kept rebooting so i couldn't do anything. Then i found this website where it said it will fix it so i used it and it did fix it. but when I checked the phone status, it was 2.2..not 2.3.3. So originally it was gingerbread but it downgraded to froyo..is it because of the file I used? I rooted again and it's working great but I like gingebread better..Is there any way I can update or any gingebread ROMs I can use? or...if I unroot, is it possible to go back to 2.3.3? HOW?
