Sometimes - the "Overdrive Off" light starts blinking does this mean the transmission is messed up or what? if so then what exactly could be wrong with the transmission? I notice once in awhile if I push the gas it will go up to 3K RPM and higher but not really take off...Is it expensive to fix?....plz no smart answers to stroke your ego....

Transmission Filter & Fluid hasn't been changed as far as I know...
Can this cause the 3K RPM or higher issue or it is something else?
Trying to avoid taking it to the shop for a major expensive job...
