...is wrong? Can someone help? The computer says the Microphone is working on Realtek High Definition Audio, that the Stereo Mix is working on Realtek High Definition Audio, but that the Line In is Not plugged in even tho it is. It says it is working properly & that device is enabled. I have bought a new headset to see if i could get it to work right but still it won't. I have only had the computer since Feb 2009 bought brand new.
 
could there be any loose connections?
check for loose connections first and if that is not the
case i think your computer should be brought back to the store for
it is probably covered under your warranty for defects.
