Up For 26hrs - Need to Flash Treo 700wx to Cricket

Hey guys. I have been up for 26hrs now and i can not figure out how to put a PRL into my Sprint 700wx. I have searched and searched all the forums and the web to no avail....

I got to your guy's posts and have tryed what you have done. It does not work for me...

I am willing to pay for info...

I have all the software... BiPim, QPST, etc... I have the original USB cable
and i also upgraded to the latest ROM from Palms web-site. I also setup the Treo to be a USB modem in XP so i could assign a port to it....

Non of the programs can see the Treo... It is showing up in XP as a Palm Modem on COM2 or 4 which ever i want to switch it to.

I got rid of my sprint service and went to the iPhone. i want to flash this phone to cricket for my wife. She deserves a real good phone and i told i would get it done for her a month ago. I figured it would be easy. Set it up as a modem fire up QPST and upload the PRL and DONE!

Nope!!!!

I am a Apple tech for 15 years. I love the iPhone. I can give all my info for the iPhone as well for trade or cash to tell me the fricken secret to getting a frigen PRL onto the Sprint Treo 700wx.


Please reply soon.... i am burned out!!!! For Real!!!!
 
The secret is that you need a special cable. See the thread about how to program it without a cable for information about where to get the cables needed to make one.
 
I saw that post but it does not give any info on where to get the backup or how to intall it....

Do you know what cable i am looking for?

I will pay you for a link or the cable or how ot make one...

TechGuy40 just made a post about how/where to get one. I don't think the cableless method will suit your neeRAB since theres a good possibility you'll still need a cable.
