i'm sure this film has cropped up from time to time in here - wim wenders *flawed masterpiece*. absolutely fantastic film - sort of futuristic global road movie of sorts, beautiful scenery, amazing soundtrack, breathtaking scenes (the scene where the plane flies over the aussie outback to peter gabriel for instance), ideas to make you go "wow!* etc etc.
anyway, its about 12 yrs old now, and its one of these films thats never on tv, a bugger even to find on video, and one I sometimes think i'd love to see again. so was just having a looksee to see if there was any sign of a dvd release (not yet, sadly), even of the full 5hr cut.
anyway, not out on dvd, but did find this about it, so thought i'd mention it in case anyone else has forgotten that they remember this film. as it were.
