Unsure Of Which Branch To Join: USCG; Navy; Army…?
Looking to enlist or go the Officer route into the military. Would want to match my interest up with the right service, and have the chance to apply myself. I am still looking over obtaining information on the military to help make the right decision. Out of the three branches mentioned above, which do you feel would be the best suited? Any experience with the three branches mentioned above? Thanks for the feedback.
Interest:
Medicine/Emergency Medicine: Going for an EMT-B certification soon.
Dealing with the environment: Right now interested in a career in environmental education
Law Enforcement
Teamwork
Helping other nations out, and back home as well
Deployments wouldn’t mind out of the eight years gone for six. Prefer to have at least 2 to 3 years during the initial 8 years spent back in the States. Training, and dealing with civilians at home.
Take new challenges: Work on communication skills, work in challenging environments, constantly interacting with many individuals, and so forth
Physical Fitness: Running, Swimming, Biking, Hiking, and so on…
Try an earn a Masters Degree while serving
Don’t mind being on land or water
