unsettled stomach

best part of a month ago I had what I believe to be a stomach bug (thought it was food poisoning but a person who hadn't eaten with me had got I too), I was vomiting to begin with but this was short, then I had liquid diahrea for a day or so. since then my fear/phobia of being sick has been more in play, most likely due to paranoia but it hasn't been helped by the fact my stomach has been unsettled since.

I'll try and describe my symptoms as best I can, I

the burping could be from swallowing excess air. Try not drinking through straws, cut out all carbonated beverages and alcohol, eat at a slow pace (If you rush you are more likely to swallow air), and don't eat right before laying down. See if that helps. The gurgling is just air, food, and digestive juices moving through the system that's a little more pronounced. Actually, if you listen to your stomach with a stethoscope you can hear the gurgling 24/7. Food/contents just muffle the sounds to make them quieter, so your stomach growling is more pronounced when you are hungry. Protein also satiates the body more so you will feel full longer if you have protein.
