federal budget DEBIT? So a football player makes like 75,000 a game.
Charlie sheen makes 2 mil an episode.
A base ball player makes more in a year than most in a lifetime....
What would happen, and how has it never been thought of to put one season of each (let alone a year)!! And use the would be wages (compensate the players well cant just leave them to boot) to put towards our climbing national debt??
Yes, yes, I know this is America and we have and love our sports, but in all reality, EVERYONE (in the right area) reading this will be paying this off for years and years and years and yearsto come. Its so bad there is lots of talk of the U.S dollar not being the world currency reserve.That is no small thing. Im not 100% on this, but I do believe China is trying to loan out their American dollars to Euros and other currency. I know this would most likely never ever happen- and please dont lecture me about taking away our sports yaghta yaghta yaghta. But ,WHY would this be a bad idea? And WHY coulden't it possibly work? Thats billions of dollars. We are digging a deeper hole....Im 25, Im not super political, I dont really know the rules that apply to this kinds of stuff....but in all respects...the money to these players only exists because of us right ? This should be passed around for many to read. Copy and post it all over.

You make a point. But you still get paid when your laid off, and even all the compensation for the little guys involved, that could be paid wouldent even add up to the total amount, including ticket purchases.Lke I said, i know its unrealistic, what about MOVIE MAKERS. The millions they put into crap to blow up or just special effects? Same as the above but the surplus revenue is tremendously bigger than the small pay out to put it on hold. And , thats why I asked....Just a question,,,,,at least im trying, or paying attention.
