Unprotected sex questions?

I haven'thad sex in a few months, and within that few months I started using birth control. So if i had unprotected sex i can't get pregnant right? I know thats whole POINT of birthcontrol, but yeah it feels kind of weird that its that easy.

Not that im planning not to use condoms where i can, but in a unexpected situation, i could not use them, right? I ask because I'm meeting some mates while im going away and i have a little crush on one of them, and he wouldn't be the type to like have a STD, hes well groomed and going to uni.

Look like, theres heaps of info about how NOT to have unprocted sex, but no info on how to, so is there any thing else i missed asides from pregnancy and std's?

PS im not serious about this guy, so dont go try telling me that i don;t have to have sex with him. Maybe i wont, but i want to hook up and stuff, have a bit of fun while im down there, ok?

Birth control pills are very effective. You are highly unlikely to become pregnant while on them. I am disappointed to read that you consider someone "not the type to like have a STD" based off of nothing but their appearance and education. College students are pretty much the one's most likely to have an STD. I hope, for your sake, you bring condoms. I also find it funny how you get so defensive about what people will say if you have sex with him. Sex involves a lot of responsibilities. You are doing the right thing by being on birth control, but you sound so dumb when you think someone won't have "like" an STD because they shower. People on here don't know you, but can still think you are too immature to be having sex. Go ahead and have fun while you're down there, but be protected.
