I started Nuvaring at around 6PM on the 7th day of my menstrual cycle. On the 14th day at around 8 or 9PM my partner ejaculated inside me; I understand that Nuvaring takes 7 days to take effect but I didn't realize it's supposed to be "AFTER" 7 days. I've noticed minor side-effects of the ring within the week: nausea, increased discharge, etc., which I think might imply that the hormones began to kick in at least somewhat. Is there a high risk of pregnancy or am I likely safe?
