Unlocking a Nokia 6230

Noob here looking for some help. I just got a Nokia 6230 for Cingular network and want to unlock the phone to T-Mobile, and can not seem to do so. Can anyone help me here? Did not have this problem with my last Nokia. Also, I am at 4 "tries", what happens after the fifth try and the codes still does not work? PLEASE help!

After the fifth try the phone locks up altogether and you're basically up the creek. You will need to get it undone by a pro I guess. As far as the unlock goes, I paid $5.00 and got a code from a site online and it worked PERFECT> The site was "remotesimunlock." Got my code sent in 20 minutes

no public software can calculate asic 6 code. maybe data cable solution will help.

all i know is I have a unlocked nokia 6620 and I've already tried on 3 diff gsm providers and it works....

yes! on 6620 but not on 6230. i unlock nokia that's why i know.
