Unlocked Sidekick from Bestbuy to Metro Pcs?!?

I want to buy an Unlocked sidekick from BestBuy & connect it to MetroPcs,Is this possible?How would i do this,Once i buy it take it to Metro & they should hook it up for me?Please explain anything else i might need to know,Appriciate the help VERY much =)

Would you mind explaining all these acronyms?Does it have to do with sim cards?
