i was wondering if i could purchase a unlocked motorola backflip and not need a data plan. the data plans r just too expensive. also i wont b using the internet or anything so i dont really need the data.i know this sounds stupid but i really want the phone. i have tmobile and there non smartphones suck. my plan is 400 whenever minutes and unlimited texting. i am just going to use the phone to text and call but i also want a high end phone and i was wondering if i could buy a unlocked smartphone and not get charged extra monthly.....on a side note if i wanted to get apps from the android marketplace couldnt i just use wifi on the phone? Or can i just download them onto my computer and transfer it to my phone? could i do that?....and last question: i know that u have to sign into a google account before u use the phone. do i just use wifi to do that?
