If it's a phone form mexico and you are using it on america's service you may be running into a compatibility issue. You may also have it blocked on your account in one way or another. The message center may need to be changed if you are using it on a carrier other than the original one it was programmed for. I'm leaning toward the message center. call into your carriers customer service and find out what the settings are for the proper message center. see if they can walk you through it over the phone. If they can't you may have to bring it in so someone can try in person.
