C conejote_99 Guest Nov 30, 2008 #2 dealer only, they need to write your vehicle vin number on the radio using th GM scan tool that way the BCM will let the radio turn on don't matter if the radio is stolen it will help a lot if you have the vin number from the donor vehicle
