Unlimited Data Abroad?

i wasn't saying that there is an unlimited voice plan...sorry should have clarified better and posted this link: http://www.t-mobile.com/International/RoamingOverview.aspx?tp=Inl_Tab_RoamWorldwide

I have used the international BB service. I activated the $19.99 service and had no issues with my invoice.

Let me know if you have specific questions.

Hey guys,

trip report from a multi country hop in asia.

Notes:
1. Email is free, including attachments, i had people send me stuff when i needed it, very handy.
2. TCP web is NOT free, i got charged minimally at 15$/mb for gmail app usuage.
3. You can pick your provider, as with voice, and they don't care, just go though the network options.
the point is, some providers were faster in pushing mail than others.

I canceled within 15 days and it appears that i'm getting a prorated bill. $11 bucks for a week in asia of free email is a steal!

thanks so much confuzzled, that is insanely helpful. I am going to wait till I get back in the states at the end of October to pick up a Curve on TMo, hopefully by that time of year they might have some sort of holiday deals. that would just make my day.

You didn't happen to use BB messenger at all did you? Does that count as data when you are traveling internationally? Anyone?

they pro-rate it too, so say im in the US and going to Canada (for work of course ) this weekend. They can schedule it to turn on at a certian time, and turn off at a certian time.

I am also going abroad today (Nigeria). I signed up for the unlimited email through my TMobile Blackberry, and will turn it off when I return. They said I can pro-rate it.

For voice, I am bringing an unlocked quad band phone, and will buy a pre-paid SIM to use there. At least for Africa, that is the cheapest way to have both email and voice.
