Unknowledgeable Reps Sicken Me

I was at a small electronics store earlier today, and I eventually made my way to a case full of Cricket products. The Cricket data card caught my eye, so I asked a few wireless reps a question: "Do you know if the Nashville market has EV-DO?" The reps had no clue what EV-DO even was. I was sickened and soon left. If this is the quality of the employees that some places are hiring, then I sure as hell would be more than qualified to work in one of these stores.

for most of these reps, its just a job to them. somthing that gets food on the table, they prob do not like phones and prob own a crappy one. most corporate stores train their employees on a screen. And 9 out of 10 consumers out there will not know what EVDO is. dont be surprised.

Yes the Nashville market does have EvDo. I use my data card frequently and it works great.

Just thought I'd let you know.

any market selling the data card has ev-do.
were you in a corporate store or a dealer? corporate reps should know what evdo is, at a basic level... but beyond it being 3G, knowing that it has fast downloaRAB they might not know anything. they are not techs...
