I am at the end of my high school career, and now I have a dilemma on my hands. I cannot choose between going to a well ranked university or joining the Marines. I really want to attend this top-notch university, but at the same time, my patriotism for the U.S makes me want to serve my country. I do not plan to make a career in the military, I just simply do not know which path I should choose. I know both decisions will change my mind later I against the other. For example, maybe if I do join the Marines, I'll love it and actually make it a career.
what do you guys think?
Every military person I've talked to has always said the military is worth it, but they have not been in the decision making situation like the one I am in now. and again I stress the fact that I am not talking about "community college".
