In the course of planning summer holidays, I have stayed with my family at university residences across the country, including St. Mary's in Halifax, the University of Ottawa and the University of Calgary: Does the University of Toronto open its residences to vacationers who are not students? If not, are there other postsecondary education institutions in Toronto that rent unused residence space to weary travelers?
