I am having trouble deciding on which university to go to. I am currently a senior in high school, in minnesota, and I am in a program that allows me to take community college classes in place of high school classes. So I will have about fifty five credits completed by the end of this year.
The University of Minnesota guarantees me that forty credits will transfer, it will full fill my liberal art requirements and the University of Hawaii can only guarantee me that ten of my credits will transfer. At the U of M I will be able to graduate with a bachelors in two years if I take summer courses, but at Hawaii, I will have to spend the full four years even though I worked hard getting those college credits in high school. The only real reason I want to go to Hawaii is because it is awesome and I really want to go somewhere new and exciting for college. The University of Minnesota costs about $17,000 and Hawaii will cost me around $25,000 or something like that.
I have a feeling that I should go to the U of M, but I want to hear your opinion too. Is it worth putting up all with all these cons just to go to Hawaii or not ha ha?
