I am thinking about attending a university in London in a couple of years time and the subjects at which I am looking would be linguistics and journalism. I am wondering if anyone could please tell me about the best universities in London (maybe the top ten) and also include some website links, too.

I did think of using a search engine, however, I really don't know enough about English universities to be able to discern which would be the best to attend in regard to the subjects of my choosing. Some universities are better than others in particular subjects.
I am sort of hoping for some know-it-all boffin to swan in and assist me with my dilemma.

Where I live, we grade the universities in terms of prestige then they're broken down (by the students) into which universities excel with certain subjects. The "best" and most expensive university may not necessarily offer the best course in the subject of my choosing.
Would you happen to know which is known for being the best at teaching the subjects in which I am interested?
