unexplained "tennis elbow"

I am new at this. Not sure where to start so I'll just "go". I had my 4th child back in Nov, and about 3 weeks after, my right elbow started to hurt. I really noticed this when I would pick things up, but has become worse and hurts pretty much continuously now. I went into the doc about 6 weeks ago when she diagnosed it as epicondylitis (sp?). She put me on a 5 day dose of prednisone, which did nothing, then sent me to an ortho doc for cortisone injections. He didn't think we should start using that route and referred me to a physical therapist. I've been there 4 times, and the pain has become worse. The p/t sent me back to my primary today to have my thyroid levels tested and my neck x-rayed, as starting yesterday my neck has started to "lock up" (best way for me to describe it). The p/t did some tests with a pin and brush, and hot and cold water and I seemed to be more sensitive on the right side. My right hand thumb started to hurt about 6 years ago, but all that was ever told to me was to wear a brace, which did nothing for me. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone, I am starting to get frustrated, I am only 32, but with these symptoms am feeling much older. I do workout 5-6 days a week...and there is a history of fibromyalgia and a bloodclotting disorder with my mom, is all this in my head? Am I a hypochondriac as my husband has labled me? I would love it if anyone could give me any sort of suggestions.
