Hey folks I'm thinking about taking part in underwater weighing at a University some time in the spring. Anybody ever taken part in that? What's the process for it? What do you wear?
I've done this. Also at a university. The purpose is to determine your bodyfat percentage. You just wear a normal bathing suit. The hard part is that you have to exhale completely all the air from your lungs just before going underwater. Then they have to weigh you really quick and bring you back out. If you don't get all the air out then the measurement won't be accurate.
