I am looking to buy a new headset and i am on a budget so i want to know what I'm buying before i purchase. Im trying to understand the specifications that come with a headset. example below
Microphone:
- Type: 10mm Electrets Condenser
- Directivity: Noise Canceling
- Impedance: Low
- Sensitivity: -58dB 3dB
- Frequency Response: 30-16,000Hz
- Standard Operating Voltage: 5V
What i am particularly interested in is the sensitivity is a lower db better or higher db and what relation does it have to the frequency response. In turn how do this specs affect the quality of the microphone.
