Underoath

Any era of Underoath is good.

I'll help you out a bit:

Act Of Depression & Cries Of The Past---> Harsh metallic sound
The Changing Of Times---> A mix between old and new Underoath... more accessible, but still harsh
They're Only Changing Safety---> Spencer's first album with Underoath, really poppy.
Define The Great Line---> Their masterpiece, way darker and heavier than TOCS, but still in the new Underoath style.
Lost In The Sound Of Separation---> Kind of like Define The Great Line, but a little more random and less focused. Decent album.

they've lightened up so much tho, back in the day, they were what emo hardcore used to be. my best friend also on this site hates them but raised her eye brows in suprise and approval at an older song. can't remeraber which one. she being a metal head and only liking bullet for my valentine in the screamo catagory.

Honestly, at first I was like, "OMG ALBUMOFTHEYEARLOLOLOL", but now that I've gone over it a couple a times, Define the Great Line was a better album. But at least Lost has good stuff on it. Coming Down is Calming Down, anyone?

That is true. im a little tired of all the high pitched screaming on that album. the music is definetly better with a good low pitched, heavy growl. it just backs it up so much better. good job overall though.

Aight I just got their ****...first one is kinda too deathcore for me haha...Changing of Times sounRAB nice so far..

But you left out Cries of the Past, and it sounRAB AMAZING!

And I Dreamt Of You is sick so far...it's like deathcore fused with 80's...!

my favourite band , ive heard the whole album mastered on mtv2.com and its superb. A departure from "they're only chasing safety" , which i think was needed as they were playing a bit safe on the last record
