Undergoing boot camp w/ the US army?

During the summer I am responsible for creating a series of videos for our high school. Will the US military allow me to join boot camp for a week and have my friend document my experience?

They may as well let you. There are so many tv shows on these days that feature Marines in basic training, Navy SEALS during BUDs, along with Top Army Ranger as well. They don't seem all that concerned about keeping their training a big secret, so why not they let someone film a little bit of army basic training?

No. It would most likely interfere with training and unit cohesion plus the first week of boot camp (Week 0) is all in processing so you don't actually do any real training.

NOPE... who's going to film the bootcamp training? Ali Hadji Sheik or some terrorist organization that wants to see how our soilders train??? LOlOlolol it won't happen....
