It's here! It's here! It's finally here! Today during Sony's PlayStation 4 All-Access event the bombshell announcement of the evening was Naughty Dog's Uncharted coming to PlayStation 4. Yes, not officially Uncharted 4, just Uncharted. Everyone, Uncharted for the PlayStation 4 was just announced.
A teaser trailer was shown narrated by a rather angry fellow, a fellow who sounds very reasonably angry. Meanwhile the camera zooms in and out over a map showing scribbled quotes stating, "For God and Liberty," "Abandon your hopes," and an odd line," Every betrayed us all." What does it mean? Well, a Naughty Dog employee teased us by saying many hints lie within the trailer, including the answers to some of our largest questions.
Does this mean that Uncharted will no longer star Nathan Drake? Will we be hunting Nathan Drake? Where in the Uncharted timeline does this story fall? What is even going on?
One thing's for sure, Uncharted on PlayStation 4 is certain to look and play beautifully. Naughty Dog simply doesn't disappoint anymore. This is the exclusive that Sony needed announced. This is the PlayStation 4's big game to look forward to. Hng, I need it now. Odds are we won't be hearing or seeing this one for some time, however. 2015, at the least.
