Isn't TRS supposed to be balanced?
I bought a DI box and one of its specifications says as follow:
--Converts 2 separate unbalanced 1/4'' TRS line inputs into 2 balanced XLR outputs.
My mixer's output connectors are unbalanced mono jacks and my speaker's input is XLR balanced so I figure out I could use the DI box.
I know I'm going to run a XLR cable from the DI Box's output to my speaker's input. But what cable should I run from the mixer's output to the DI box's input? I thought I had to run a 1/4" TS cable but now that one spec has me confused. Should I still use the TS or should I use a TRS for better performance
Thanks!
