I recently borrowed a 1997 Honda CR-V from a family member. Upon leaving the vehicle in a parking space, I locked the doors with the original remote from the dealer which enabled the alarm. When I was returning to the car, I could not find the remote and instead used the key to enter the car. The alarm sounded and as long as it is armed, I cannot start the engine. Is there anything I can do without having to tow the car to the dealer? Any fast solution or advice is greatly appreciated.
